WALK IN INTERVIEW - EMPEE SUGARS - PARAMAKALYANI COLLEGE

GREETINGS.

Young and Energetic male graduates from all discipline can attend the "Walk in Interview" for recrutiment drive to Empee Sugars and Chemicals Limited for the post of Cane Inspectors on 22nd August 2011 between 10 am and 2 pm at Sri Parmakalyani College Premises. The selected candidates shall undertake field work and disseminate the information on Sugarcane growth.

Students are requested to bring along with them the latest Biodata, one set of testimonials, address proof (ration card) and proof of identity (voter ID/Driving license).

Self Employment Training Programme - DIC Thoothukudi-17.8.2011

A special seminar was organized with District Industrial Centre, Thoothukudi. Dr. B. Makesh Kumar, Convener of  Placement Cell delivered the welcomed the gathering.  Prof. T.R. Thiruvengadaraj, H.O.D. of Commerce delivered the inaugural address. Mr. Aravannal, General Manager & Er. Sornalatha from DIC, enlightened the students about self employment further briefed about the loan facilities and related matter . Mr. Stephan of final year Botany proposed the vote of thanks.

Campus Interview - Conducted by Vijaya Bank on 15.7.2011

Campus Interview was conducted by Vijaya Bank ( Government of India Undertaking) at our College premises for Final year students of our College.  A total number of 50 students had participated in the event. Mr. Vishwanathan, General Manager and his team were interviewed the students. The results were awaited. This was the first that a Nationalized bank approached and conducted the placement interview in our Campus.

Career Guidance & Placement Cell

The Career Guidance and Placement Cell co-ordinates various activities to enhance the employability skills as well as total development in personality of students passing out the institution. The Cell organizes various training programmes for the students to achieve the above. Various programmes and courses for development of personality, aptitude and numerical skills, communication are done in a regular basis. Mock interviews and group discussions are part of the above programmes. Besides, the cell manages its own library.

The Cell conducts various campus/off campus drives to enhance the placement opportunities of final year students. A number of students have been serving various MNC s and government organizations for the past few years.

The Cell has various measures to identify the strengths and weakness of students. Besides there is strong support from the Cell to rectify the weakness in students so that they can emerge as global leaders for challenging careers.
