Off-Campus drive organized for Cognizan BPS

Sadakathullah Appa College is organizing an off campus drive for Cognizant (CTS) BPS.

Eligibility Criteria.

1. Year of passing: 2014 batch only.
2.Any UG Graduates.
3. Consistent academic record of minimum 50% in X, XII, UG & PG.
4. No standing arrears allowed at the time of recruitment process.
5. Strong written and oral communication skills.
6. Flexible to work in shifts/relocate to any Cognizant locations across India.

Job Fair 2014

Thoothukudi District Administration and Career Guidance & Placement Cell of our College Jointly organized a mega Job Fair for the unemployed youths on 21.02.2014. Inauguration was held in G. K. Devarajulu memorial Auditorium at 11 a.m. The fair was inaugurated by lighting the kuthuvilakku by all the dignitaries. The Inaugural address was delivered by Chief Guest Thiru. K. Vijaya Karthikeyan, Sub Collector, Kovilpatti. Honourable Member of Legislative Assembly                

 Mr. Kadambur Raju, Mrs. J. Bella, Project Development Officer, Thoothukudi and Dr. G. Mariappan, Principal gave their felicitation to the participants. Mr. S. Krishnasamy, Associate Professor of Commerce & College Committee member, Mr. G. Venkatachalapathy, Director, Self Finance Courses also participated in the Inaugural Function

           

Twenty companies, representing textiles, IT-enabled services, Automobile industry, Building and Construction, Chemicals, and Hospital sectors participated in this fair. There was an overwhelming response to this fair with close to 2728 applications being received, of this 1378 applications were shortlisted and 637 applicants were selected for various Jobs.

Special Meeting on 09.01.2014

There was a special meeting for all the Final year students of Science & Commerce streams  on 9^th January 2014 (Thursday) at Meeting Hall.  Mr. M. Rajesh, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, Sree Narayana Guru Institute of Management Studies, Coimbatore, enlighten the students on "Apptitude, Resume writing & Basic Interview Techniques".
